Hi guys,
Just as a guide what size would you move royals up from a 9l rub to an 18l mine are around the 400g mark and i was looking today and i think maybe the 18l would be a better size for them, i was planning on getting 07's but ended up buying a pair of 06's which are obviously bigger, which is why i had 9l ready for the hatchlings later on this year, i have 18l on order as i know i will need them in the future regardless. Actually i have a photo so you can see better the size of them in relation to the box.

My two royals that are around the 500g mark are both in 18L boxes are loving it, but 9L would be a squeeze for them. 18L Is working for mine.

that's a real nice looking royal!!!

Looks ok in the tub it's in, I tend to upgrade tub sizes when the tub and substrate can't cope with the amount of defecation produced etc.

I've bought 18 litre useful boxes to cater for my royal's between 500g and 1kg.. This is my guess that they can thrive at these weights before the bigger step up to 50l.. I might be wrong. Very Happy

Very nice Royal you have there.
We keep ours in large Contico boxes up to about 750gms and they are ok.
