Right then, when does everyone cool down there adults?also can anyone give me pointers on how they go about it ie how long for and basically how they do the whole process??oh and when?thanks matt

I try to keep it as close to the wild as possible: I drop temps gradually over the last month of autumn, turn temps off completely over winter, then raise gradually again over the first month of spring.

You don't need to cool them, just feed e'm heat e'm & breed e'm.

Sorry Matt, i should have made it clear in my reply. i wasn't talking from experience, only from others i know who have bred their Ackies. although i know they don't lower temps (other than cooler natural winter temps outside).

i know ppl have sucses whit both methods and that the ackys kept on warm temps year round grow quiker but i think its just not natural and quiker growing and more clutcher could mean shorter lifespan
