Cant you buy your crix at a local pet shop then? I cant imagine you need a huge amount?

Yep, I can - but when I went in, all there was was locusts of all sizes, medium crix and large crix. (They only do small, medium, large - no instars). So none were small enough, I bought the locusts and found out the hard way they didn't like them!
If they get smalls in - which they usually do - I'll buy them. If not, I have to source them online.

THe crix arrived 100% dead.
This is turning costly and annoying - I'mm going to try Eurorep.

I would have done, (thanks for the offer! ) but managed to wrangle a box of small crix 'for display purposes only'  .
A nice bustling box of size one/twos!
They actually had fruitflies there - I noticed today, which if I hadn't gotten the crix, I would have bought.

Mine will stay awake as long as their light is on. I have them on a 12 hr day with the light going off about 7 to 7.30. Great little chams arn't they so laid back have you felt them buzzing yet?
