I'm seriously considering starting breeding my own rats and mice due to the increasing costs of feeding 14 snakes and the differing quality I get even from the same shop. Sometimes they're really good quality and at others the snakes turn their noses up.
I'm not squeamish about killing them - I just think that the snake will enjoy his dinner. Everything we eat was alive at some time.
My friend sometimes breeds rabbits but she keeps refusing my offer of a good  home for them. I wonder why
