Very nice varanids.

Brilliant job on the rockwall, it looks like a very usable surface area.

I have wanted to build one for ages but i always had a concern about the polystyrene bending or buckling under the weight of the cement.

Did you just glue the polystyrene together?, is that tile cement or brick mortar that you used?, i have found tile cement to crack easily when iv used it for smaller projects. Also is the paint water based or oil based.

The cement is the kind you use on houses to repair small cracks, I dont know the english word for it.I glued the polystren together with silicone and for the rockoutcrops I stuck a wooden plant stick throuh it for extra strength.The paint is oilbased therefor you have to wait a while for it to realy dry before you put in the monitors. It dosent weight that much acctualy 10-15 kilo. I've added some plants in the viv plus some extra sand, Will put up pics when I got the time.
