Superb looking panthers, and those senegals are so cute! Love the nosey with the red flecks: I've never seen that before!
Looking forward to more pics. _________________ “If in doubt, just say nowt” |

Hi yes it is, they need a good source of UV to help them assimilate calcium, the UV helps the calcium uptake in their bodies. Also a good calcium supplement is the usual way to go and is dusted onto the chams food x3 per week initially. Good calcium uptake is crucial for healthy development and helps prevent MBD, metabolic bone disease. For Madagascan species I usually use a5% uv tube for Yemen's 8% or even higher like the new zoomed reptisuns 10's. For the montane African species I use a high UV output also. Standard tubes can be used or a compact tube such as is made by arcadia can be used. I fit reflectors to all my tubes for the babies as I tend to use four foot tubes, spread across the tops of quite a few baby tanks. Much easier this way when you have quite a few babies. One tube, one starter, I house my babies individually when they are about 8 weeks old, and have eight individual cham set ups per 4ft tube. Hope this answers your query. _________________ www.rickslivefood.co.uk

Thank you for the kind comments, I will take some pics of some of my other chams and post them soon. The cham you are referring to just has attitude, a real charecter. Or did I mix up the wrong powders and supplemnt with caustic soda, ( folks please dont give caustic soda to your herps). _________________ www.rickslivefood.co.uk
