I picked up a new male fat tail at the IHS show. He somehow managed to escape over the weekend. Good news/bad news, I found him but he was totally stuck in a roach trap Shocked

. I thought he was a goner, but saw a little bit of movement and managed to pull him off. I thought he'd be dead the next morning, but he seemed ok. Anyway, he fed really well last night and seems fine, although minus half his tail...He's been named Sticky lol...
I've now thrown all my roach traps out...

Aww poor little guy, not the first time ive heard that but lets hope he makes a full recovery

Wouldn't it be good if they could tell us? Our corn got out the other day and ended up in the Water Dragon tank, I would so love to hear her explain that one Laughing

See now, this is why I keep axolotl.
If by some mystery Spyyk escapes, she sits and quivers and waits for me to put her back.
She's only done it the once - took a flying leap out of a salt bath when I was treating her for parasites.

Good luck with him, hope he heals up well.
