Right, I recently watched the "Cornutopia" popping tutorial video. And it mend me wonder. Lets find out if my snakes are what i presumed.

My Milksnake - I thought was Male
My Royal - I thought was female

They both seemed to swap gender over night.. (Sex Change Of Snakes) lol. Well I tried 'popping' my milksnake a few days ago, And no hempenis popped out, just little black dots, as quoted on the cornutopia vid) After poppig her/him! (lol) i wasnt sure if i done it right.

But after a few days, I managed to get Jumanji out (with out destroying the pretty viv Razz) And i popped 'him' And the hemipenis popped out. Was a shock.

So my geuss's of each was completly wrong.

It's quite shocking though, Jumanji is 4.5 feet, And it also helped me think he was a female because his sheer size. So i plant o breed with Jumanji on a later date, Because of his sheer size.

Sorry for boring You Neutral

Cool they seem to enjoy surprising us don't they Very Happy I'm not sure but I thought that popping larger snakes could damage them so probing is safer, maybe someone can clear that up for me??? xxxx

popping is fine if like anything, it's done correctly, adults are harder to get the knack of. It's also easier to mistake a male as female (if you don't pop correctly) whereas males are obvious when popped right.
