some may have heard it before but i thought it was quite good!

A millionaire collected live alligators, keeping them in the pool at his mansion. The millionaire also had a beautiful, single daughter. During a huge party, he made an impromptu announcement. "For all the bachelors present, i will give one million dollars or my daughter to the man who can swim across this pool full of alligators and emerge unharmed!". Suddenly, there was a huge SPLASH. A guy was in the pool, swimming as fast as he could. The crowd cheered as he made it out unharmed, just ahead of the snapping jaws.

"My good fellow," said the millionaire, "that was incredible! I didn't think it could be done! Which do you want, my daughter or the one million dollars?"

"Neither," said the swimmer. "I want whoever pushed me into the pool!"
