new to gecko and reptile keeping.

can you give me the top five geckos you think would be best for a beginner, and some recommended care sheets on them?
I've been looking at cresteds but probably a bit too expensive Crying or Very sad

Top geckoes are cresteds or leos IMO. There are others, but they're all more expensive or mainly wild caught.

Cresteds may be £40 more - than say a leopard gecko - but once you take into account that they don't need heating or livefood, they all cost about the same (pretty expensive once you add it all up). Choose the one you prefer.

thanks for the quick reply. yeh i do really like cresteds so hopefully get one for Christmas, been doing quite a lot of research on them, the more i read the more i like, especially as their nocturnal, because i only get home from school at nine. now just got to persuade the parentals.

i have read that u can keep some rhac species together! is this true or am i just making myself sound like an idiot. Embarassed
