They are more expensive than cresteds and in my opinion they are better than cresteds (even though my favorite gecko in my collection is a crested, she spends most days asleep under my collar when i am at home). I think its a common myth that gargoyles are harder to keep than cresteds but they are the same to keep and from being a baby grow quicker. _________________ Play Hard |

I find that Cresteds grow much quicker than Gargoyles. Mine (gargoyles) seem to take an age to get going...lol. Chahouas on the other hand grow like weeds. Out of all the Rhacs I keep they're definitely the fastest growing.
Adult gargoyles are around 8 inches total length. _________________ Best wishes, Jackie

I should have worded that better. They do grow well just not at the same pace as Cresteds. I feed mine all the usual stuff (fruit crickets etc). The gargoyles are quite large in comparison to hatchling Cresteds. _________________ Best wishes, Jackie
