Following on from the advice of people from the post about perspex, i'm getting glass for the vivs i've made. I'm just wondering what size i need to get in order to fit it into the runners. Theyre 3'*2's so getting exactly 3'*2' of glass isn't going to fit. It depends on the size of the runners but i havent got those yet so i'm not sure but anyone got any idea? What size does everyone else use?
cheers

You need to fit the runners first before cutting the glass or you WILL get it wrong. When the runners are in place slide your ruler up into the top of the top track and measure to the top of the bottom runner this is the height needed of glass allowing it to go in and out of the runners, the length of the glass is half the length of your vivarium plus how ever many cm you want them to overlap in the middle. As each pane will only be a few square feet you can use standard 4mm glass. _________________ Andrew Tillson-Willis
