Bunny, breathe in deeep and relax Cool Laughing. Give him some time to adjust to his new sorroundings after all he just got pulled from his last place and shipped in a box, try not handling him much at first either, he will need time to settle.

He most probably is eating, you just cant see it.....and cresties dont eat much when it comes to CDG, there stomachs are about the size of a pea.

Cresties are nocturnal, so he wont come out of hiding until the lights are out and he feels it's safe to venture out.

Loiuse, as above, just leave him totally alone for a week or so, replace the crestie diet every two days with fresh, you can put a small amount of soft 'over ripe' banana in the viv too. Make sure the food dish is accesible and can be seen easy (place it next to the side wall).

Once you are happy that he's feeding and growing a little then you can spend time getting him out etc

he'll be fine.

I understand your anxious but please don't worry. Give him at least a week to settle in. Put the food in his viv and leave him. He'll eat when he feels secure in his new surroundings. It'll just take time. How old is he?

hi scott yes i have the exo terra viv 45 45 60 planted out with real and plastic plants with vines and wood for him to climb on. a uv light which is on for a few hours a day for the real plants the temp is 78-80 in day and drops to 71-72 at night. i haVE red light on in day to keep the temp up and turn tht off at night and just have the heat mat on. i have scattered 3 small flat pots of food around the viv on side walls at back where he hides. food is peach and banana mixed with cgd he is leaping around at night. i put just cgd in last night not sure if he had any or not. do they eat alot at this age. sorry to be a pain. but would hate anything to happen to him as he is so cute

all sounds good, although I'd leave the red light off.

At the size yours is you probably wouldn't notice much CGD missing from the bowl, so he probably is eating a little.

ok thanks ill let you know how it goes, if i leave the red light of the tank drops to 71f in the day, i do switch it off at night though. should i just go for the cgd on its own or mix it with the fruit . havent quite got the cgd consistency right yet its either too runny or goes solid hehe its ok when i mix it with fruit though
