Anyone own these monitors? I have looked into getting some in the future, and have dropped in price to around £290 each. I know that they need a large enclosure, but nothing states what size needed is. |

A friend has some, pretty sure his cages are around the 4ft * 4ft by 2ft front to back. Pretty sure he was the first private keeper to successfully breed AND hatch them in the UK too.
Stunning monitors, just be careful on what you buy, they can have high parisite loads. _________________

lol....I think your find there aren't any available.
The CB ones that float about are CB in the country of origin, maybe they are true CB, maybe CF or even w/c babies only the exporters know for sure. _________________

Yeah. Well it's not a plan for the near future, as I have a very long list of breeding stock to buy first before going into them. |

how about some of the other monitors? the kimberlys are great, so are ackies and tristis. All 3 of those will be in short supply for quite a while. _________________

I'm already breeding Ackies, and plan to buy your tristis once the bank finds the location of my money. If you sell them, then I'll have to look around. Next year I'll be buying a large group of ackie hatchlings, most likely from yourself as I only have a pair of Ackies at the moment and they're not pure yellows. |

I'm about to start a second job, so that I can use those wages to buy more breeding stock. Other than those 3 monitors, can you recommend anything else?
My wish list is the following (Those in bold I already own, or am close to getting):-
Chinese Crocodile Lizards
*Frilled Dragons
*Ridge-Tail monitor Group
*Timor Monitors
*Black Headed Monitors (Varanus Tristis Tristis)
or
*Freckled Monitors (Varanus Tristis Orientalis)
*Indian Bearded Dragons
*Rankins Dragons
*Desert Horned Lizards trio
*Green Lizards (Lacerta Viridis or Agilis)
*Uromastyx (Geyri, Hardwicki etc.)
*Fiji Iguanas (One day!)
*Shingleback Skinks
*Shield Tailed Agamas
*Club Tailed Agamas
*Rosy Boas
*Rhino Ratsnakes
As you can see, there is alot of moneys worht listed, but I plan to slowly increase my collection piece by piece. |

They were hatchlings from a private breeder, although i'm unsure of whether they were CB. |
