I noticed to my horror that you don't have an axolotl section!
Well, I'm here to help! *laughs*
This is my Spyyk!
Can you see why they're called Ambystoma (Cup Mouth)?
Off to bed?
No.
This is Spyyk's home. I recently swapped the substrate to sand, as it's healthier for her.
I try to make it as interesting and exciting as possible for her too!
I have like, a TON of pictures - but I perhaps think there is a limit...[/img] |

They are incredible animals - seriously intelligent, nosy and lazy.
They don't hurt when they bite - and indeed love to do so!
Spyyk's a spoilt little madam, but she gives all the love she gets.
I was amazed not a while back - the Paleomontes shrimp (her pets)sometimes drive her a little crazy, tickling her tail, so she chases them around. I swear she tried to shut one in her shotglass, but it got away before she "locked" the ball in place.
I haven't touched it - I just took the picture...
And later Spyyk checked if the shrimp was there or not...
Anything is interesting to these inquisitive critturs.
