hi i'v got three white tree frogs i'v had them all for about three months
two have grown big and fat and are croaking loadly
but one which i have now seperated for his own safety is very small he has one leg which is rather gangerly which stops him from climbing and leaping for his food i'v made his tank with low items and don't spray him to often as he takes on to much water as he sits on the floor all the time.
i vitamin his food and gut load the hoppers he only eats one or two hoppers i no as i but in five at a time. he just won't grow is their anything you guy's can suggest i'v scanned the net and can find nothing or am i just worring over nothing. i did lose one of my frogs a month after getting it i brought it the same time as this one i was very upset

Hi,
Are these juveniles?
Sounds to me like your frog has a calcium deficiency. When he was in the tank with the other frogs how often did you dust the food items? Did you ensure that each frog got it's fair share of food?
When raising juveniles it is important to keep them in small containers to keep them closer to their food and ensure that you wake all animals at feeding time and check that each one has a good helping of supplemented food. _________________ Andrew Tillson-Willis

hi pollywog
this could be right i did dust their food as according to the instructions i was given and when i noticed two off them were not getting as much food as the other two i used to take them out to feed them in seperate containers sadly one didn't make it.
i now have the other frog in a tank on his own dust his food every feed
i did send him back to the man i got him from and he fed weighed and looked after him for a couple of weeks he has made a slight improvement
i just wondered if i could do any extra. |

There is not really much more you can do but daily supplemented feeding. What supplements are you using? _________________ Andrew Tillson-Willis
