Hi there Rick
Sorry for the delay in replying to your message. The chameleon is actually coming to me as a long-term loan from Bristol Zoo. I used to volunteer in the reptile house there and, very fortunately for me, they currently have a single surplus sub-adult which the head keeper is going to let me keep until such time as they may need it back for breeding purposes etc. in the future.
It's a very privileged position to be in and I'm naturally very grateful for their willingness to let me take him/her in!

Wow that is a privileged position
if we had a decent zoo round here i would want to volunteer some time to a reptilejust to get to know more about reptile and their care |

Hi Jonathan..I remember you from the show when you came back to Scotts table..I was on his table for a fair while on the day..The geckos certainly went quick didn't they!Anyway nice to see you on the forum,hope you find it friendly and usefull..

Thanks Stuart, it's frustrating not having known any of you prior to the show as I can't put faces to any of your names, except Scott's of course! I'm already finding the forum both extremely useful AND friendly and welcoming by the way, so am even more pleased I finally got here!
