I agree with Kate,i would say RAPTOR,Albino leos do not have red eyes,
Although you may see some red veining in the eye. |

Sorry but a RAPTOR that is not if it is then they are not what i thought they where and there for nothing really that special.RED EYED-yes it has,ALBINO-it is,PATTERNLESS-it is not,TREMPER-yes,ORANGE-it is whitch make it a RATOR so a Red eyed albino tangerine/Red eyed carrot-head carrot-tail most likely het aptor/raptor.Aptor/Rapor are influence highly by striping seen best going throw the tail with a underlay of more orange spot/blob's on the body and a intense orange stripe on either side of the body But with breeding the best of the best are so orange the the striping can only be seen on the tail. There is to much white on that leo and it's in a banded to my knowledge aptor/raptor lack this gene. |

Hi Gazz, think you spotted this one on LF too?
I did contact the breeder with what you said, this is the reply.........
[quote]The grandfather of your red eyed Leo is an Aptor 100% het Raptor, so the red eyed genes are there. He was crossed with a reversed stripe female and produced a male CHCTjungle who is the father of your leo, it was crossed with a Tremper Chocolate Albino jungle female and your leo is the result. Not claimimg she is a RAPTOR, no doubting the fact that she has RAPTOR type eyes. quote]
another point, I thought jungle to jungle produced only jungle, and to me she doesn't scream Jungle either. Well not sure what to put her with next year now |

this could be an albino with just the raptor eyes.
there are more breeders, who are already introducing the red eyes into different morphs now, for example the blazing blizzard with red eyes, but i've already also seen some pics of supersnows with the red eyes, the just are not called raptors animore.
so this one is probably a bonus/surprise from a breedingproject.
i am not a red eye lover, but i like those surpise hatches, we also had a few surprises this year _________________ www.bcreptiles.com

No jungle is a line bred trait same as hypo's same as if you bred a hypo to a hypo you don't just get hypo you can get hypo's hi-yellow sometime you'd get some that you would class as normal and sometime super hypo's.Breeding a jungle to a jungle you get a percentage of jungles and some abberants and normals, etc some time you may get all jungles but it is a line bred trait not a recessive gene.
Does this make sense to ya ??. |

She has red eye not RAPTOR eye.RAPTOR stands for (R)ed eyed (A)lbino (P)atternless (T)remper (OR)ange so you don't need the rest of the RAPTOR in the name just the red eye part.I don't really like the name RAPTOR i think they should be called red eyed APTOR As RAPTOR is a predatory dinosaur and a bird of pray. |
