Laughing Gary, what are we to do with you lol! .. my guess is its a no, we are all hoping it wont last too long as we desperately need the site back up before Jane's funeral next week, she was one of our mods... so we are missing it too terribly...

Garry i suggest in the future when your belittling somebody you don't know, to choose your words a bit more carefully, I'm sure your job never takes you away from home or you never move away from your computer, I'm in a high profile job which I'm committed to earning 30K + a year, so when they say i have to be somewhere i go. I don't get paid for any support on the website and I'm sure any PROPER host who does offer full software support charges a fortune for it. I'm sure Scott doesn't ask his host to fix his forum.

All i was saying was that a community website with a lot of members whould be hosted by someone that is available to sort issues out.

Dave, I think Gary was just trying offer help and obviously doesn't understand the arrangement you and Tanya have. I too have a friend that hosts all my sites and he also 'fixes' any forum issues for me. This is obviously far cheaper than Gary's suggestion of a 'proper' paid host etc but I, like Tanya, would sooner the cheaper 'friend' option Laughing even if it means things take a little longer.
