Depending on what I'm keeping my stable diet normally consists of black and brown crickets, iv never really bothered with locusts much as i find them too expensive for what they are worth.

My Question is how long does it take a locust nymph to grow to adult size. I ask this because 100 nymphs are half the price of a 100 adults. Would it not be more economical to purchase them as nymphs and grow them up to adult size.

I breed my own and find them to grow phenomanally (spelling!) quickly. The warmer you keep them, the quicker they grow. Wink
