Got these little chaps with the intention of culturing them yesterday. The intention is to feed them to chameleons, various frogs and my mantids. The adults are bright green and can fly but the nymphs are brown and burrow in the substrate (dampened vermiculite I am using) and look a bit like very small lobster roaches. Apparently warmth, humidity and ventilation is what they require. They are feeding on so far; papaya, grapes, bananas, lettuce and winter greens. Any one else culture them here? Question

I like these - quite fancy culturing them as a feeder. Isn't it just the males that are green?

Both sexes of this species are green as adults Mark. Wink

Smaller than most roaches, the nymphs are tiny. Hatchling cricket size.
