Hello there!
I have a reeves turtle named Mr. Hippity Skippity. He is a pretty awesome dude let me tell you. I am worried about an appearance of algae or fungus on his skin when he is viewed in the water. It looks like hair.. and is fuzzy around his neck like a halo and on his feet(less than head). He is eating well, and very active. Anyone else ever encounter this? He does not have any algae on his shell. |

If it is a skin fungus I'm guessing that it will be quite treatable with a copper based fungicide - but you will need to take it to a vet who knows what he/she is doing.
Good luck with it,
Mark. |
