Thankyou Karen. I enjoy a puzzle like this. Will be interesting trying to work out what they are most likely to be. _________________ YSBRYDOLI POBL, GWELLA LLEOEDD

Unfortunately I only have one survivor as the rest died not longer after purchasing them. _________________ www.rickslivefood.co.uk

My own fault really they were way to young really when I obtained them. So I must take that responsibility on board. _________________ www.rickslivefood.co.uk

Karen,
I keep and breed F. lateralis major so I might be able to help you sex them if you direct me to pics.
Peter,
Keep us updated with pics and I'll see if I can help you solve the mystery. Unfortunately, with no tarsal spurs, all we've discovered is that they aren't males of a couple of the species/subspecies but could still be females of those species/subpsecies.

Rick i am sure your care of them was spot on and then some. Maybe they just weren't up to par when you bought them.
