I was feeding everything last night and thought I'd take some more photos of my young Rhacs.
Firstly, my orange stripe auriculatus. The orange is getting more vibrant with each shed:
These next photos are to show the size difference in the clutchmates:
The smaller one hatched 4 days after the first and took a week to have it's post hatch slough. It has also taken longer to start feeding. It's doing well now (feeding and shedding on it's own) but I wonder if it will be a small adult or will it catch up? (There's only one photo of the smaller one as it is due to shed).
Now for my leachie pics - Winky. He's coming on a treat. I've had him since early July and he's grown at least an inch since then. I sat watching him hunting for hour last night - it was great. He was really active.
Leachianus feet are amazing - they are so huge!
My favourite photo - a game of hide and seek. 'I bet you can't find me, Mam!'

Excellant pictures Jackie, and stunning animals.
Watching your Leachie hunting for an hour is what it`s all about to me. I spend , (according to some people) too much time watching my animals. I personally feel that I don`t spend ENOUGH time observing them. I certainly can`t remember the last time I watched television other than to watch a DVD. (You`ve guessed it, on wildlife!) _________________ YSBRYDOLI POBL, GWELLA LLEOEDD

very nice babys, mine are showing some yellow in their stripes but most of them are going either white or really pale. _________________ Play Hard |
