they can start eating all that almost from when they hatch.
try to give a balanced diet of all those items AND insects too. _________________

so..he will proberbly eat a pink when he is a baby.warm or cold.should i just wiggle it with tweesers.?

a slightly warmed pink would be best, you can try wriggling it, if not just leave it in the viv for the day. _________________

he may not eat pinkies straight away and i would say crickets and locust should make up most of his stable diet. Don't feed him cat food, hes not a cat and its really not good for them.

We were advised to wait until our monitor was 18 inches long before feeding him rodents. Apparently it can be hard on their kidneys if they're too young. We were also told never to use cat or dog food to feed them, as it's full of rubbish. |

I wont even give cat food to my cat!
As for pinkes, your Ackie is currently far to small to be able to handle a prey item that size, stick to crickets mealwroms etc for now.
When old (big) enough though, your Ackie will love rodents. |
