Just a pic showing the relatively large size of kingorum egg comapred to the much bigger species glauerti.
Obviously the glauerti produces more but even so that's a big egg for a female king to pass  _________________

brevicauda on left (freshly hatched), varius on right.
The heaviest adult brevicauda weighs around have as much as the average freshly hatched varius. |
