ive been thinking of getting one of those moonlight spot bulbs for night time watching of my cresties but im unsure if this will annoy or distract them ?
i like to watch them go hunting during the night but just want to know if one of these bulbs would be ok for it ?

a low wattage / red / blue bulb will not affect them at all, just watch out that there is not too much heat generated from it. _________________

Hi Negri
I have a 40watt Red bulb inside my Cresteds tank; it helps to keep the temperature up as my house can sometime be cold (must get a new boiler lol). She seems to be very happy, and yes it’s great to sit and watch her hunt.
