Right, I know the simple solution is to ditch the camcorder and actually get a decent camera, but I'm skint and when I do save up some cash I always find a better use for it.
I use a Sharp viewcam on still mode, and I can get pretty good close ups, not as sharp quality as I'd like, but they're passable. But for some reason, whenever I try and take a full body shot, or even a portrait of a person, it comes out fuzzy and generally crap. I'll post a couple of examples to show what I mean. Any ideas? I've played with the settings etc, but it doesn't help.
They're not perfect, but they do the job.
However this is pretty shocking!

I think they look pretty good. Those close up shots are amazingly clear! |

Thanks Louise. To be honest, I'd be happy if I could get my body shots to have a similar clarity to the close ups, I'm not expecting amazing results after all it is just a camcorder. Or it looks like I'm waiting until Andy's back over here and I'm stealing his S700. _________________

That sounds like a plan mate. Can you recommend a non-ebay online place to look? I've had a search about, but come up blank. _________________

Stu and Paul will know the best places to look, cheapest I found was 99 doing a quick look, I paid 110 for mine 2 years ago nearly second hand off ebay! it was a shop that sold through ebay and its been great!
Granted my pics aren't the best but I think I take a fairly good pic with the camera (no I am not looking for any positive comments regarding my pic taking) _________________ 1.0 striped supersalmon DEAD
