Hi
AVIPRO plus I stumbled across some reviews of this on Livefoods.co.uk and thought I will give it a go.
My very snappy hissy royal female which I hope to have upto weight this year generally only eats 2/3 rats a month with a lot of messing. After giving her some of this in her drinking water she has ate 2 rats in 2 days. the first she even ate when I just put it in the tank. Did not have to pretend it was alive. the second she didnt give me chance to put down.
Any feedback comments experience with this stuff appreciated.
I will see if a fluke or if she feeds the same in a few days.
cheers

not tried it personally, but would be interesting to find out other peoples experiances?
Need a bigger sample though to see if it was coincidence or the Avipro. _________________

Hi, I have been using AVIPRO for years on poor doers and animals that have had to have vets treatment.
I have used it on snakes, geckos and my rabbit with good results. |

Fed again this morning(could not resist trying)
Looks like it is going to explode, will leave it a few days before feeding again.
It was popping its head out of hide tonight with a hungry glint in its eye.
Would be great to hear any other thoughts, experience etc.
thanks

Hi
I routinely use it on non feeders Royals (adult and baby) as much to get some good stuff back in them, but I too think it can make them start feeding again, once the gut flora starts to work on the vits and mins in avipro, a wee quick start to their metabolism I reckon. Sometimes its worked others it hasn't, but its good for them which ever way

brill
It seams to have perked my royals up.
I didnt think I would get them upto weight this year but the way they are feeding I am in with a chance.
Male is 769grms
50% het albino female is 1350grms
Normal female is about 1250grms
if they keep feeding at current rate till end of november they should easily be heavy enough.
I would breed them at these weights? .Has anyone been succesful breeding females who are a little under the 1500grm mark?
thanks

Hi,
Yes last year 3 of my females were around the 1200g mark and I had 100% fertile eggs and 100% hatch rate too. |
