My Royal tends to sleep all day then around 8pm when it gets dark enough he wakes up and pokes his head out, then generally just moves from hide to hide - not very energetic shall we say!
Over the last couple of nights however he's been on full alert and seems to have this burst of energy! As I type this he's milling around and isn't staying put, up and down the glass and around his branch.
He's not frantic so I don't feel theres anything wrong, I just though it was strange?! Temps are normal and he fed yesterday so all ok there.
Werid eh? Anyone elses Royals act like this? |

Yup, I have a few that do this when they're not fasting!
One of my girls is doing this as we speak - it's been an active week for her! |

hi
Mine usually only come out at night, roaming rummaging etc. They can be very active. I find if I catch them a little before they come out it can be a good time to feed them. I find if they are out and about they are less likely to feed than if tucked away in there hides.
cheers mike |
