Lovely looking California king. She still has plenty of growing to do, I am sure she will calm down nicely for you. All mine have done. Just watch your fingers at feeding time! _________________ YSBRYDOLI POBL, GWELLA LLEOEDD

glad you are getting on well with her now.
The main thing to remember with kings is just to not hesitate or back down, most people that think they have a nasty attitude haven't got them out enough. They do get very cage defensive if they don't come out enough or if you always hesitate.
I've calmed down most of the kings I've had, the only ones that are still narky are the florida's, both can be got out without biting but they do take a little while to calm.
Cali's are ace though mate, still don't understand why more people don't have them as a first snake. My little baby is as good as gold.

Hi Meltos....Apparently she's about a year old but i'm still trying to get her to strike for food instead of just leaving the mouse in the viv...i've only had her for about 3 weeks......thanks for the comments |
