As you see from my signature I keep a number of different things.

I cant really say which is my favourite as they all have great features in some respect.

I am attempting to get into breading crested and beardeds at the moment. Ive had a little luck with the cresteds, having had 2 eggs hatch 2 weeks ago. However, since they were laid I've not had anymore. Not overly sure why, if anyone has any answers id like to know. Underproductive male maybe?

Ive seen a lot of mating activity from the beardeds, so fingers crossed well see some eggs from the 2 females in the near future.

The ameiva is pretty cool, very timid at the moment and spends a lot of time hiding, but very very fast and has some nice colours ... leads me on to my wish list really. ... an argentinian black and white tegu, if I had the room I would get into keeping and eventually breeding these beautys.. unforunatly I dont!

Cheers, James

Hi James,
Welcome.

The cresteds could just be at the end of 'their' season, my egg laying has slowed down now too.

Stuart on here keeps a B&W tegu, I'm sure there's a few photos on here too.

hope you enjoy the forum.

Yeah, ive got a real thing for those black and whites. Ive had a little experiance with them when I spent some time working in a reptile shop. Still, ive recently graduated from uni so am at home at the moment, maybe when I move into the other halfs place ill build a large insulated shed at the bottom of the garden and get a couple then. Can see her face now!

I have been mulling over getting into the reptile trade myself these last few months, but its all going to come down to space, and lack of capital to set myself up. Maybe one day.
