I went onto the classifieds a minute ago to look for- believe it or not- something reptile related. What did I see- the ads being used more or less like a chat room. OK Steve Irwinn was respected and liked by many- fair enough BUT if you belong to a forum- any forum you will find tributes, condolences etc etc can we keep all this off the ad pages please? Wading through all that lot of back-biting is both boring and un neccessary.

I have to say that I agree. It is a shame to find yet more bickering even on the classifieds

You're quite right Jan, any classifieds discussions should be on this area of the forum...that's why I created it
I'll have a litle tidy up and delete some of the remarks, so far reptileclassifieds has been relatively free of stupid posts, and with an increased number of Classified Moderators lined up soon we should be able to keep totally on top of it.
The new reptile classifieds website is still going ahead but due to the cost I am making sure I have all angles covered before I have the software written.

Thanks Scott, wasnt having a dig by any means but so many classifieds are full of rubbish- mobile phones, Viagra, dating agencies etc. When I go to the ads I dont expect to see anything but herp related stuff as you'd expect. The idea of a mod looking over the ads is a great one and it will stop numpties taking advantage of a free service.Thankyou.
