Well, this guy hatched yesterday (04/09/06). This was the one egg that survived and it had taken about six months. He is an Australian Argus monitor (Varanus panoptes panoptes).

He is named Steve. You all know why.

Argus monitors are one of the 'prettiest' monitors IMO.
