Hi all.
Can anybody tell me what species of cockroach are best? will be feeding them to argus monitor & panther chams. would prefer one's which are less likely to escape.prolific breeders not important, as i only have small collection. what about the Dubia species? also best place to buy from?

thanks.

Hello I use Lobster roaches. All roaches can have a tendency to escape. Lobster roaches are packed full of protein, soft bodied, and make an excellent feeder. I feed them to my Panthers. Simple to prevent them escaping, just a light smear of Vaseline around the top of their tank. It really does work, can place em in a small tub to feed em of and do the same thing, or hand feed them or use tweezers. If you have an insect proof viv no worries anyway.

Did I mention I am selling them, pm me or see my add on the classifieds. Wink

Dubia are the best, but do take a while to get the culture numbers up.
