Best of luck with them. I imagine a group would look stunning in a large naturalistic set up. What set up are these youngsters in?

At present they are in a 4'x 2'x 2.5' glass tank, with a mesh top, running a filter, heater & 150w halogen basking spot, with an NEC T10 blacklight fluro to supply the UVB.

Predominantly pinky rats. We keep feeder fish in there with them in case tey get a bit nibbly, but so far they aren't showing any interest in them whatsoever.

I bet they make a mess in the water when feeding! Rolling Eyes That`s what the strong filtration is for right? Or do you feed them out of the tank, or on land?

We feed them on land, but I went with the filter system after seeing what a mate's did to the water area while feeding Shocked

Yes, I will be breeding them once mature.

Sor far, they've been quite neat & orderly. I can only hope they stay like that when they're full grown!
