they are stunning and as was said a lot of the normal looking morphs of the WHN do look similar whn u have barry summerhayes taking the pic LOL. I can say with total conviction I have seen nigh on all of baz's snakes and the green look totally different from a normal, and the jungles also (which I have a pair coming soon possibly tomorrow!!)

Teardrops do look similar but are different enough when u put the 2 together!

Sorry - snakes..... Embarassed

One more questions about these little fellas - why are their heads that shape? With the little turned up nose and short skull?

It`s chiefly so as to enable them to burrow. This species of snake spend a great deal of time doing so. Wink The nose acts like a shovel almost.

Cool - thank you Very Happy

Why would they be that bright though? Is it to make them look less tasty or do they live in a scrunchy factory?

Or are these the exceptions to the norm?

In the wild and natural state Anna, they would not be any where near so bright. They would in the majority of cases look like this;

..........which happens to be excellant camouflage. The colourful individuals in this thread have been selectively bred by mankind to look like that. Just as your dogs have been. Wink
