My boyfriend and I have just set up a FBT tank (well...he did most of it ) as we are planning to get a group of 4 or 5 toads (I think!)
He's quite proud of it, so just wondered what you all think? Anything that could be added/removed?
It has a piece of bogwood holding the gravel back, and has an Exo-terra fogger in there (if you couldn't guess from the pics )
It also has an Elite Mini filter in the water. There is live moss on the land area with a mini Ficus and another plant - can't remember what it is though! The tank measures 23" in length (yes, it's an oddly sized tank!) and has a couple of coconut hides too:
And from an angle:

Well done what a superb set up! Have you kept FBT's before? _________________ www.rickslivefood.co.uk

I'd remove the fogger, they heat up the water and make the humidity too high for the toads to be comfortable, they are only really of practical use with a small number of species. _________________ Andrew Tillson-Willis

Thanks Rick - nope, have never kept fire-bellies before, they're gonna be a first! I think the plan now is to get 6. We don't want them getting lonely
Thanks for the info Pollywog - which species would the fogger be suitable for? No point in having a fogger and nothing to use it with |
