Hi, thanks a lot to the mods and owners for letting me place this here. It means a lot Very Happy

My name is Anna and I'm raising money for the rescue dogs I work with but in particular a big smelly fella called Kenzo. I drove 12 hours to Norfolk to pick him up from a....well a shed really where he'd lived with no exercise, very little food and no vetinary care for over a year even though he has terrible cherry eye. Sad

Despite that he's a lovely, clumsy, funny fella and he really deserves a happy life from now on. His foster home are rebuilding his muscle tone and his trust, Burns have sponsered his feed and I'm now (stupid stupid girl that I am) going to try and raise enough money to cover his neutering and the treatment of his eyes - anyone of you who owns anything bigger than a collie will know this is no mean feat.....

So I thought - if Kenzo can live like that for a year I can do something for one day that scares me, and my dear friend Tracie piled in too to stop me making an utter fool of myself alone!

I have a totally irrational but all consuming fear of snakes. She has a fairly sensible fear of heights (she can't go more than 3 steps up a ladder without fainting) Tracie will be riding the London eye with me pinning her to the floor and probably getting a black eye in the process and I will be.....I will be WEARING two Pythons next Sunday kindly organised by two nutters from here........

All sponsers get pics of both events (Stuart is taking mine - cheers chuck) and they'll be seen nowhere else until I say it's ok - judging by my past reactions to snakes I don't think it'll ever be ok!!

Anyway, here's the link to have a look at the big lug (who's still looking for a home too by the way) and sponser the event through paypal, alternatively you can PM me for a sponsership form if you want to have a whip round in the pub, any pub who gets together and raises a decent amount will get a large print of what's becoming known as the 'snake bikini' Laughing

http://www.canecorso.me.uk/SPONSOR/sponsor.html

The event is being hosted by Molosser forum and has received over 1,000 hits since it was launched on Tuesday - basically people laughing at me...

So if you want to see a terrified woman covered in Snakes and a girl being wrestled in the London eye (and who wouldn't?!) please get your giving hat on and click the button.

Thanks.

x

apologies for the naff pic by the way - i was in a rush cleaning them all out etc etc and weighing in at about 71/2 to 8 stone she was a little too heavy for my nephew to hold for anything longer than about 30 seconds.

Am now even more scared AND slightly humiliated by being 'out bikini'd' by a small boy.

I'm not sure about that.

I wake up with butterflies every day as it is!

I can't see my two girls being terribly chuffed about having a snake in the house either......

yeah we will probably have to do it in a dog free room to be honest if that is OK? My animals are not used to dogs. They are fine with the scent as a lot of family / friends have them but they have never had any contact and the littlest of yours is 'edible size'. wouldn't want any 'incidents' Embarassed Shocked
