Elmo and splodge have never really made much noise, but for the past 3 nights in a row they have been barking/moaning non stop! im not sure if its just one of them or both of them but they are makin a hell of a noise, they are not fighting infact they are no where near each other they are just makin lots of noise!
ill sort of attempt to type the noises they make, i have tried to record it but had no luck....
(no comments about me being being mentally challenged now you lot!)
noise 1: "whaaaaa" sort of a whaling dying cat sound
noise 2: "wha wha wha wha wha wha" little barking angry squirl noise
noise 3: "wha wha whaaaaaaa" a mixture of the 2!
does any one have any idea of what this means? are they just reaching maturity and expressing themselves? (hatched in july last year if i remember correctly)

My cresties dont make much noise at all, my female that is mega tame chatters to me when i have had her out for a while. I have noticed alot of noise's coming from my group of Aurics though, The noise are really quite loud and when people come round to my house they say the noise's are spooky (i like them, they are really relaxing and tuneful) I haven't heard any noises coming from my Aurics that i keep on there own but when i added one to the group a while back it did make noises, it must be a group thing maybe its away of distingusing heracy between them. _________________ Play Hard |

Interesting Jenni, I've heard a fair bit of noise coming from my aurics but don't remember hearing much from the cresteds. _________________
