You will need a viv, 4ft x 2ft x 2ft (is perfect). A 3ft UV tube (repti sun 5.0 is good) a starter unit for tube, a spot light (100 watt) a DIMMING thermostat (habistat is good). Then a water dish and some decor , maybe a few pieces of cork bark or a branch or two. Substrate, well I use calcium sand but have also used corncob. Bark Chips is one of the few things NOT TO USE.

Just shop around on the internet for prices.

Good luck

i would be care full with any sand as well for substrate i use tiles which are good , easy to clean better than any substrate ,kepps the heat real well plus if you get some mint tiles the can look cool Smile if not then for my beardies i use wheat bran as it is safe if they eat it , calcium sand proply ok but i still personal would'nt use it as sand cause's impaction , for a cheap viv try this site http://www.vivariumstoorder.co.uk/ they go from £80 i think with out the lighting but i'm sure they offer full setups alot cheaper than you have quoted so far

thanks guys Very Happy i found on the internet this shoping list
Shopping List
Minimum for a juvenile lizard:
• Plastic Vivaria
• HabiStat, Heat Mats 6x11/7w
• Basking Spot Lamp
• HabiStat Dimming Thermostats
• Reptile D3 Lights 18"/15w
• Arcadia Control Units 15w,
• Thermometer Alcohol
• Repti-rock Dish & Hide
• Repti-Sand
• Repton
is this all nessasary Confused i notice that no one has said about heating mats do you need these. also is the viv easy to setup by someone who has had no experience with it before. are deardies the same size as moniters and how long can you have the beardie out of the cage for at one time. i have had no experience with lizards before so is it a good idea to keep one Question
also i have found another site and can get a 45x45x60cm is this ok and could i just have a heat rock instead of a lamp and just a uv light with a switch instead of a habistat
