I must admit I felt quite disappointed with the show. Obviously hard work had gone into it by PRAS, but attendance was low and there were was not much variety there were only a few frogs in sight, and not much variety compared to the Essex show. Out of the three recent shows I would say the Essex one has been the best so far.

Was nice to meet Peaches and her fellah, both very nice people. We also bumped into someone called Scott at the show, Scotts passport photo is now available in peel of sticky strips, passport size photos! Wink Laughing

Peter Parrot, myself and Jim O stayed in a Havant Hotel on Saturday night, and hit the show the following day, all feeling the worse for wear after sampling too many cups of tea in various Ale houses in Havant the night before the show, the tea needed in depth sampling hence not retiring to our rooms until 5.30am. Jim O decided he had had enough by 2.30am Twisted Evil The ale houses were quite rough, so we spent most of the evening in the worse one we could we find Laughing Pete in his best diplomatic style asked the landlady of one pub where the better pubs were Rolling Eyes

The Hotel manager had incorrect booking information and instead of two twin rooms (single beds) all 3 of us had been booked into two single bedded rooms Shocked We ended up with three single bedded rooms for the same Price Laughing It was very Fawlty Towers, the manager was quite stressed after he had resolved our booking queries Cool

Mr P bought some snakes, Jim bought quite a diverse variety of herps including a Chile Rose, Rana tadpoles cresties and a few other bits.

I managed to find some Bombina Maxima and Japanese Tree frog tadpoles. Should be fun.

Petes GF met us at the Hotel and came to the show and kindly drove us home. Overall it was a very good craic!

lol........yeah Rick, thanks for putting stickers of me everywhere!!! Embarassed

The show was once again in the same venue, easy to find, great parking and nice size with good facilities. Apparently attendance figures were double that to last year but it just didn't feel like much was being sold.

I only had crested geckos for sale, sold about 25% of what I took, so was quite pleased.

I only have a few sub-adult cresteds left now, so once they're all sold there will only be this years babies available Wink

Nice to meet everyone, peaches, peter, rick, Jim (didn't look quite the same without the handbag and dogs!).

Hopefully if the show continues to grow in attendance figures it will slowly become one of the better shows in the UK, just a shame that some people made a long drive to get there but weren't allowed in as they weren't society members.

Was great to finally meet Rick and Scott at last, I did see Pete and Jim O, (Rick pointed you out to me). The pic thread really did help for spotting people.

It did feel a bit smaller than last year, and quiet but they said the numbers were up so it's all good, I do hope they do one again next year, I really enjoyed it.

Bought some Blue Beauties, Trinkets and Fox snakes so I am chufed to bits.

I'd like to thank all those how supported the show, table holders and people that made the effort to get their to look round.Reptile clubs are very important to our hobbie, and I know the PRAS guys really appreciated your support.
Thanks again. Laughing

We had a good day there only sold a few bits but enjoyed it, remember thinking why i was at the show though i hope the numbers do increase otherwise the people who go to the trouble of organising it may just not bother in the future, well done though to those that did, and was also good to meet Jim,Rick,Peter and the friendly staff at pollywog. Very Happy
