Fraid it`s only what I would do. A rare an unusual species, not sure of what it feeds on, well, success! Now we know something it feeds on. Perhaps they could have been sourced elsewhere, but as Scott said, Dan was obviously thinking waste not want not. Looking at the pics , the ducks were either mallards or a hybrid of Mallard and a domestic breed anyway. No great loss. I am not being hard hearted, just realistic. Snakes eat various cute, furry and fluffy creatures. Oh, and so do I!

Right, hopefully that`s the last of the duck saga. Dan, how is Kong settling in, and what else have you got on the menu for him?
