You hit the nail on the head..yes it is hard work getting a decent forum going as I am sure you are going to find out..but deliberately breaking anothers rules and sending sneaky pm's isn't fair is it?..and I use the word sneaky because thats exactly what it is..if you genuinely thought you were doing no wrong why didn't you post it on the boards?..Put the shoe on the other foot..would you like it?.. _________________

Like I said read the link I posted!..it explains rules etc regarding links to personal sites and other forums etc..I think its not too much to ask from members to contribute a minimum of 50 posts before they go plugging their own sites..there are plenty of members on here that feel that it is more than fair and tbh this forum has the most relaxed rules and regs(if you can call them that) i have ever seen on public forums..You get out of this forum what you put in..if you contribute and share advice etc with members then in time your post count will add up and then we won't be as negative about you linking to your own sites etc.. _________________

The point is, to settle in to the forum first, contribute, and then no one minds a bit of plugging as it becomes a community type thing. We all share information to help each other best we can. This forum is the most relaxed that I know of by far on this subject. New members posting once or twice and then bombarding people with plugs are just taking advantage of Scott`s laid back nature if you see what I mean.
Contribute, and then after a while , do one plug on a thread especially for it. Not loads everywhere and very little else post wise. Scott has recently set a new rule whereby membere dont "plug" till they have made 50 posts which I think is more than fair.
Rant over. _________________ YSBRYDOLI POBL, GWELLA LLEOEDD
