the background is made of polyurethane elastomers. I constructed a model 'cliff', made a mould, then cast the mock rock out of pigmented elastomers, with handfuls of sand and crushed rock thrown in.

thanks for the pics....they are truely stunning displays! makes me want to move some of my monitors back into the house.


They look really well settled, do they spend much time at the glass (front or partition)?

Hi Scott,

The only time they spend at the front is in the morning, when it's time for their wander. They usually just sit there calmly and flick their tongues, but if I don't let them out after a few minutes they start to scratch. Sometimes, though, they just like to watch.

Hi, i dont really know that much about lacies, is their temprement easy going and how big do they grow?

Is the display separating the male from two females?
