We havnt found them to be messy at all.
they usually eat out of the bowl and sometimes carry a chunk of ruit off somewhere to eat but its easy to clean up after them.

I wouldnt say their feet feel sticky as you can feel the claws alot more.

LOL you wait once they are settled a bit they will throw food out the cage it brilliant ours even aim for us especially if its food they don't like, its almost as if they are throwing it in disgust. Gliders are wonderful you will love every minute with them. and the pouches are a great idea if you want to bod but we have never used one ourselves and our gliders i don't think could be anymore bonded to us we just have them in our room so they can bounce all over us all evening.

they are really cute good luck and have fun Very Happy

Any pics Lou? Always been interested but never been in circumstances suitable to keep them. This may be changing soon though. Smile

There you go Peter, first shot is Nikki, one of our females, 4th shot is Mad Dan Eccles, my (our) original male, and the two in the middle are shots of some of their joeys.
Not sure if I have posted them on here somewhere else, apologies if I have.

Contact Marie for anything you might want glider-wise. She imports a shed-load from the States, and will help with any advice you might need. One of my female gliders also came from her along with almost all my gliderade, calcium powder, zoo-fare etc etc

Gliders are very addictive. I only started keeping them a year or so ago and I'm up to 9 of them !!!!

As Bri has renewed this thread im sad to inform everyone that cocoa is no longer with us.

She escaped one night and fell into the toilet Sad

I cant express how upset we are. The way they both bonded to us so quickly made it feel like losing a member of the family and we felt so sorry for caramel as she had just lost her sister. She didnt know what had happened though and just kept barking for her Sad

My girlfriend was blaming herself at first and had a hard time dealing with it.

A single bar was missing from the cage with left a gap less than an inch wide. She had escaped before but we found her in the morning. We had decided from then on the cover the gap with a heavy object and leave the door to their room closed at night.

But unfortunately the one night that we forgot to cover the hole and close the door, she escaped.

So now were going to buy a new cage and hopefully get her a friend. Although we spend a few hours everynight with her she has noone to cuddle up to play with when we are not around.

Unfortunatley i have the learnt the hardest way Sad
So if anyone is thinking of keeping them remember they are escape artists! mae sure they cant come to any harm if they do escape!

Ben
