One of my marbled newts has a sore on it's mouth, sadly the flesh looks as though it is being eaten away. I can only think this started off as a feeding nip. Not sure. The wound is getting bigger does anyone have any treatment suggestions. I have isolated him.

I have noticed a couple of simalir sores that start of small then just get bigger on a couple of my salamanders to, namely my Ssb's and Galicas. Again the sores are just getting larger. My tiger sals, my Sst's and marbled sals show no signs of this.

The Sssb's and the Galicas more than one has been affected by these sores.

If I could find out what is causing it perhaps I may be able to prevent it?

Any help would be very greatly appreciated, thank you.

Hi Rick, I'll send you an e-mail about possible treatment, Tim is also having similar problems with his Salamandra at the moment so have a word with him see if he has had any luck.
