hi, my tortoise eyes seemed to be really runny and full of water, it looks like a thick glaze over them and when he wakes up he rubs them with his arms to open them and some times it take longer to open one of them than it does the other, they have actually stopped running now but it would be handy to know if there was anything up with him

no its nose isnt running at all, it seems to be more when he has just woken up but like i said dont seem to be doing it anymore just wanted to know why it was

It may be that it requires a tad more humidity. Red foots especially. Wink

Perhaps you could describe the set up that the red foots are in first. What size/age they are too.

Any pics?

he is in a 2.5x1.5x2.4 viv, i leave the door open for plenty of air circulation, he is approx 2-3 year old, i'll get you a pic as soon as

A light misting a couple of times a day would be a good start. Red foots are from the floor of the rain forest and are often seen travelling by river. So they must be suited to pretty high humidity. Try this link, good luck Wink http://tortoisetrust.org/articles/trophab.html

he is fine thanks a lot, i was told to put him in a tort table at first and it is since i took him outta that and put him in a viv that he is better, thanks for the advise
