How much open space do cresteds need/like to have in the vivarium?
I know they like their hidey spots but they also like to jump around....
I was goin' to have quite dense foliage towards the top of the viv and less at the bottom so that its easier for them to find the food dish etc... but then thought they might want more space to jump around towards the top too........
Should it be 50% open space, 50% foliage? Or more foliage? Or more open space?
Thoughts/opinions/advice???
Thanks

mmm smarties or a small rounded sweetie that looks like a smartie, could be a fruity smartie (which would be better)
As for the crested gecko issue, i set up my tanks with a log either end at the to so they can jump quite a long way then follage round the sides so they can snuggle underneath it (between the side of the viv and the plants) so you will end up with lots of plants around the sides of the viv and logs for the cresteds to climb and jump from in the middle, hope that helps. You will have to post some pictures of the finished masterpiece. _________________ Play Hard |
