What?! We did not waste any time. You were worried about something that could have been a potential issue. We offered advice and you took it. Smile He's doing better, that's all that matters. Whether is was just the dish, the feeder type, etc. doesn't matter now! ha ha He is eating well, really well! Keep us posted on his progress! I am hoping he is A-OK from here on out! Smile

Yeah, So Do I Shanna Smile And although i moved the sand for nothing, Maybe he was just not eating because he knew the sand was a threat. Oh im going all phycological now Razz Nah, Im totally chuffed. Im going wit waxworms to 'BEEF' him up a little, I wanna see some curves on his tail! Im totally hyper because of this.

Shanna, You have been a great help, so much appreciated. I was thinkin of breeding from him, but he was the runt and has a gentic problem, he has a humped back. So i want to be responsible and not breed from him, As his babies might have the same. So in a few years or even in a few months (Defernetly when i feel i know enough) i will get a breeding pair Very Happy

Of course I will Shanna. I know where to go if i have problems with any of my herps now Very Happy You are a huge help, did you gain all your knowledge from just experience from owning them, or do you have qualifactions?

And do you have msn, Higher chance of keeping on contact that way.

Thanks! I gained my "knowledge" from mentors, experience, education and passion. I have a double degree in SOC and PSYCH, which doesn't do squat for herps (HA HA), but I took a lot of biology courses. I also grew up raising Quarter Horses, Rotties, Labs, Yorkies and Schnauzers .... so I learned a lot of life lessons that way.

As for herps - I have owned them my whole life. I was a typical kid who killed many frogs and tadpoles as a child. I know, I know! Sad As I got older and entered the teen years, I developed a love for reptiles. I have always been amazed by chameleons and snakes. I actually owned them and did research on them over the past couple years to gain "correct" knowledge about husbandry, etc etc. I have owned leos the longest, over 10 years. I have owned snakes for almost as long, but not nearly as many. I have only gotten into dragons, chams and other lizards over the past year or so.

My intentions are to go back to school for a Master's in Biology and/or become a herp vet. I am 28 now, and the possibility of 8 more years of school just hasn't tripped my trigger quite yet! hee hee Maybe in the next year or so I will dive in!

I have MSN, YAHOO and AIM. I will PM you that info.

Thanks again!

-Shanna

That Sounds superb. I wouldnt mind working in a zoo with Big Cats. I always have loved them, But i know its sounds strange. But I would like to work with Big Cats and Reptiles, But that is very unlikely. But Yeah, Or in game reserves in Africa.

But My Girlfriend wants to work with horses, And im sure she would rather to do that here then instead of Africa eh Razz But Yeah, I have to consider my mrs's life aswell. Because with out her, I wouldnt have a life. And Yes im only 16, but boy am i in love.

Of Subjetc here ;p Thanx for your details Shanna Smile

You didnt move the sand for nothing. My leo died because of sand, she stopped eating cos she was blocked. At least its better now, and there is no risk of impactation anymore!! Cool
